Beeswax has a unique combination of waterproofing and breathability properties that work together to keep your food far fresher than your typical plastic wrap. Many fruits and vegetables release gases as they ripen, plastic wrap traps those gases and moisture in, causing your food ripen, wilt and become soggy. Conversely, beeswax allows your fruits and veggies to breath and releasing those trapped gases. At the same time, beeswax and jojoba oil have antibacterial qualities actively working to reduce risks of contamination and keep your food fresh.
Our beeswax wraps are made of completely natural materials that will biodegrade. They’re 100% compostable—meaning you can feel comfortable knowing that they disintegrate into natural elements.
